All About the Elusive Carmen Sandiego

How did she become Carmen Sandiego ?

Before Carmen Sandiego decided to steal from VILE she was actually a part of VILE under the codename “black sheep”. VILE is an academy that teaches people the skills you need to master to become a master fugitive. Unfortunately she doesn't pass the graduation because one of the teachers had the test rigged. Angry, She decided to sneak on the mission which her fellow cadets ( who passed ) were going on to prove her worth, While she’s on the mission she sees that stealing is an evil and brutal activity especially when your stealing lives. Before she had gone on this secret mission she had gotten secret contact with ten outside world using a phone she stole from one of the faculty , It was a young white hat hacker named player. She didn’t share anything about the school she went to to him. After the faculty find out that she sneaked on the mission she is severely punished , later she decides that she wants to go on the good side and decides to steal the VILE hard drive from their keeper and runs away. She later comes up with the name Carmen Sandiego and tells player all about the school she went to

Player :

You know how people meet online? Yep that’s how Player met Carmen. Player hacked into VILE’S database and first made contact with Carmen through a phone she stole from the Captain during her time on the Isle of VILE, and that’s how they met. Carmen started having conversations with Player in secret since having contact with the outside world was forbidden by VILE.

Carmen and player became really good friends over time and soon when Carmen  ran away from VILE island she and player teamed up and dedicated themselves to bring down VILE once and for all. Player is described as Carmen’s secret weapon He has demonstrated he has a high proficiency in encryption breaking, hacking and data collection and has provided invaluable technical support to the team.

Zack And Ivy :

Before meeting Carmen , Zack and her sister Ivy lived in Boston. They took part is many Boston Racing Championships. Zack and Ivy borrow some money from a man called Sharkhead Eddie . Ivy , being the team engineer builds their car "Linda" for Zack to drive in the races. They quickly advanced from amateur to professional leagues. In the finals , Zack met his old rival , Trey Sterling. Trey joked around and taunted Linda. This made Zack mad and he was determined to win the race. Ivy told Zack to be sensible and not to go crazy. Despite Ivy's warnings Zack destroyed Linda in a reckless attempt to defeat Trey. They go to Sharkhead Eddie again to ask for more money for repairs, but he said to go rob a store. This is where they met Carmen. The store was called Darryl's Donut Hole and they were illegally minting money for VILE. Carmen came to stop it and expose the store. When they met, Zack and Ivy decided to travel with Carmen as they had nothing left in Boston. They also did not have the money to repay Sharkhead Eddie.

Shadowsan :

Shadowsan is the code name for Suhara, (his real name). He used to be a member of the Vile Faculty but betrayed them to join Carmen's team. Shadowsan has a brother, Hideo which is shown in episode 3, season 2. Shadowsan is born in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan. His weapon used to be his Katana, but it was returned graciously by him to his brother's museum. As a member of the Vile Faculty, Shadowsan used to teach martial arts and stealing professionally. He later joined Carmen's team and proved his worth by helping her return the Alexandrite jewels. Since then, he is seen helping her on many occasions. In order for Carmen to trust him, he tells her the story of how her father was killed and how the Vile Faculty members made a pact not to tell her.
